As a Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: You will work within a modern inpatient rehabilitation environment, supported by strong leadership and a collaborative interdisciplinary care model. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient’s needs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong clinical skills and commitment to safe, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Education: Associate’s degree required
  • Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required
  • Licenses: Registered Nurse licensed to work in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Experience: Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • ACLS preferred
  • CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
  • Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.
  • Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
  • Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
  • Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
  • Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
  • Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
  • Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
  • Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
