Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE Days) Outpatient Day Surgery
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing total comprehensive nursing to patients and their families through the development of a plan of care, including implementing, reassessing, evaluating and revising the plan of care. The RN develops these patient-specific plans by performing psychosocial/physiologic assessments, considering patients' cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs, reviewing trends of similar patients, as well as considering physicians' orders regarding care. The RN integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care to include patient and family education, and actively supports and incorporates nursing regulations and standards, as well as Franciscan Alliance processes and procedures in daily practice. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing/Patient Care from an accredited program
- Experienced nurses are welcome to apply
- On Call after hours, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Patient Care from an accredited program
- 2yrs, ICU, IMCU, or ED RN experience
