About The Position

Draw routine and research labs for patients seen in the Cancer Clinics, Hematology Clinics, and by Genetic Counselors. Place peripheral IVs for patients using techniques to minimize pain and the latest technology to assist with selecting the best site for IV therapy. Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
  • Ambulatory experience Preferred
  • Relevant oncology experience Preferred
  • Chemotherapy experience Preferred
  • Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
  • Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
