About The Position

Rome Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse within our Medical Imaging Department, that will be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for patients and their families.

Duties will include:
Assessing, directing and coordinating patient care and procedures in the Radiology environment in an efficient, empathetic and timely manner appropriate to the age of patients served.
Serving as a patient advocate and health teacher. Accurately carries out the medical regime as prescribed by the physician and according to departmental protocols.
Demonstrating the ability to perform nursing functions utilizing the Nursing Process, Rome Health and Medical Imaging protocols, and appropriate regulations within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse License in New York State.

Nice To Haves

• BS in Nursing preferred.
• One-year work experience in acute care hospital desirable.
• Experience in Radiology nursing preferred.
