The Lead Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, analyzes and appraises the care given to patients within the Respiratory department. Advises the Director of Respiratory Services regarding the status of patient care, and quality improvement processes. Anticipates and estimates future needs of the Units to improve quality of patient care. Position Summary The Night Shift Lead Respiratory Therapist provides clinical leadership and oversight of respiratory care services for pediatric residents in a long-term care setting. This role serves as the primary respiratory resource during the night shift, ensuring high-quality, safe, and evidence-based care while supporting staff, coordinating workflow, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
