About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a high-acuity healthcare facility in Greenville, South Carolina . The RRT will provide advanced respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, primarily in critical care environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and respiratory therapy procedures in fast-paced clinical settings.

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License – South Carolina (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Experience working in Adult Critical Care settings
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma hospital environments
• At least 1 year of EPIC charting experience
• Strong clinical skills in ventilator management and airway care
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and support for critically ill patients in acute and critical care environments.
• Perform airway management procedures including extubation, nasal and oral airway placement, and suctioning.
• Administer respiratory medications using aerosol masks, tracheostomy setups, metered-dose inhalers, and nebulizers.
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation, troubleshoot ventilator alarms, and assist with ventilator weaning.
• Deliver oxygen therapy including high-flow nasal cannula and tracheostomy collar oxygen therapy.
• Manage and monitor BiPAP and CPAP therapy.
• Perform pulmonary hygiene procedures and collect sputum specimens for testing.
• Provide tracheostomy care including suctioning and airway maintenance.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) .
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed within scope of competency.
