Respiratory Therapists assist in transportation of intubated patients with special emphasis in maintaining airways and providing adequate ventilation and oxygenation. Assess modalities of respiratory therapy, recommend changes - including improvements appropriate to the delivery of respiratory care. This is full time, Night flex position covering three 12.5 hour shifts a week, with rotating weekends and holidays for our campus at NYP Westchester located in Bronxville: right across from the Metro North Train Station. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Requirements
- Minimum of AAS Degree from an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care Eligible for Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current NYS Respiratory Therapy licensure
- BCLS certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are required
