Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED
• Six months of customer serviceexperience in finance, physician office or clinic, insurance, banking, etc.
• Basic Life Support - CPR

Nice To Haves

• High School GED
• One year relevant experience in hospital environment, upon hire

Responsibilities

• Obtains moderately complex financial information regarding patients from various sources to obtain paymentplan agreements and Medicare coverage.
• Interviews customers for data retrieval
• Abstracts medical information necessary from the mother's and baby's chart for completion of the birthcertificate form
• Retains and understands federal, state, and county regulations as it pertains to birth registry
• Completes Paternity Acknowledgements submitted to the state
• Locates and orders medical charts when necessary
• Reports Immunizations via EBC program
• Must Attend appropriate courses for Birth Registrar
