The Registrar is responsible for registering, discharging, and scheduling students and maintaining all student records. He/she will ensure that all students attending the school are appropriately enrolled and assigned and that complete and accurate records of assignment, achievement, and attendance exist for all students. Responsibilities Oversees daily attendance of students. Assists in implementing the new computerized attendance system from teacher scanner sheets. Responsible for intake procedures for all students. Responsible for the development of the master schedule and all programming. Maintains all student records and related communication. Develops computer procedures and reports. Performs other duties as assigned by the Headmaster Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree. Experience in scheduling staff and students. MA DESE Secondary Teacher License at the appropriate grade level. Excellent computer skills and ability to develop computer reports. Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Have knowledge of Nordex and other scheduling software. Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment. Qualification-Preferred Masters Degree. Experience in an urban school setting.
