Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• Ability to type 45wpm preferred
• Medical Terminology preferred
• Knowledge of Insurance Verification/Authorization requirement preferred
• Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registration Associate is responsible for the accurate intake of patient information and input into the hospital computer system to create patient accounts.
• Insurance verification and identification within the computer system is vital in the accurate billing of every patient account.
• Registration Associates must secure patient signatures and copies of patient ID’s and insurance cards.
