About The Position
Onsite at Paoli Hospital. Full-time, rotating days from 6a-6p, 40hrs a week. Come join our Team! Paoli is looking for a dynamic individual to join our System Patient Access Registration team. This entry-level role serves as the first point of contact for our patients and is critical in ensuring a positive experience from the moment people walk through the door. To be successful in this position, you must be detail-oriented, patient focused, dependable and consistent in your attendance and timeliness. Registration experience is preferred but not required for the role. This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
- Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure a timely and accurate patient registration
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Provide information and answer patient inquiries
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations
