About The Position

Join Haxtun Health as a Registration Specialist and be the first smile patients see, helping guide them through check-in, insurance, and payments while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. The Registration Specialist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for patients and visitors by ensuring all admissions, registrations, and account information are handled professionally, accurately, and efficiently. This position supports the clinic, performing patient interviews, verifying insurance, collecting and posting payments, and maintaining complete and compliant records to optimize hospital revenue and enhance the patient experience. The Registration Specialist also provides front desk and phone support, greets and assists patients and visitors, and ensures all registration and payment documentation is processed in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Previous medical front office reception or related experience preferred
  • Experience with Excel and Word preferred

  • Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
