Rehabilitation Aide at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Provides direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a registered physical therapist in all assigned areas. Provides patient care services under direct supervision of an occupational therapist in all assigned areas. Responsibilities include observation of patient response to services and communication of observations of patient needs. Assists with patient, family, peer and community education. Requirements

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: A student currently enrolled in a training program leading to licensure as a rehabilitation professional or similar worker.
  • Upon hire: Certification as an aide (in any rehabilitation capacity) or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) issued by an accredited program
  • 6 months experience in any capacity in an acute care hospital.
  • 6 months experience as an employee in a rehabilitation environment.
