About The Position

Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year This role is patient facing in the acute care setting and supporting our occupational, physical, and speech therapy teams with getting patients out of the hospital bed, and support with all treatment needs. You may be asked to lift greater than 50 pounds. Performs general department maintenance, inventory of department equipment, and supplies. Works with multi-disciplinary team. Must be willing to work in a variety of settings. May perform office/clerical duties and assist others in the rehabilitation services department as needed. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of PH&S Rehabilitation Services Department Therapy Aide training program within 3 months of employment.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Some college coursework.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in Windows based software programs., Or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience as a Therapy Aide.
