As a full-time, nonexempt Rehab Receptionist you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing front-office operations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the Rehabilitation practice. This role involves interacting with patients, coordinating appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Location: Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, day shift, and additionally on an as needed basis. Rehab Department Hours: Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-6:30pm, and Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm. The Rehab Department utilizes Epic. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a customer service or patient-facing role
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of insurance processes
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education or training in healthcare administration
  • Recent rehab or hospital experience

Responsibilities

  • Checking in and registering patient
  • Follow up with BWC providers, check insurances, complete insurance prior authorizations
  • Patient scheduling over the phone and in person
