About The Position

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year Technical Experience
  • Intermittent hand manipulation required
  • Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds

  • Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules Acute Rehabilitation Inpatient Therapy in ERH Snapboard.
  • Deals discretely with sensitive, confidential information concerning professional affairs, personal performance of staff and confidential information concerning department and/or system affairs, information contained in minutes, letters and other documents.
  • Establish, and revise filing system, classify, sort and file correspondence, records, and other documents.
  • Coordinate & schedule all activities related to meetings, conferences, appointments, travel arrangements & maintain supervisor’s calendar.
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, minutes, agendas, etc.
  • Proof all typed materials, make corrections and recommended changes.
  • Fax, photocopy and distribute material as directed.
  • Sort and distribute department mail.
  • Open, sort, review and prioritize mail. Bring priority items to supervisor’s attention.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining department budget and participates in day-to-day fiscal decisions, including Kaizen Optimizer updates.
  • Maintain departmental equipment and supplies. Order supplies/materials as needed within allotted budget.
  • General clerical duties Answering phone calls and relaying messages to appropriate staff
  • Performs daily unit audits to ensure proper care and documentation of safety and quality indicators
  • Assists manager with all ETO requests, responsible for approving/denying these requests in API after collaboration with Manager
  • Assists with control of daily staff rosters, communicates staffing concerns with Supervisors and Manager
  • Prepare “Downtime” packets and ensure current forms
  • Facilitates communication between patients and families as needed
  • Plans Employee Engagement celebrations, events and holidays.
