About The Position

Boiler & Machinery Reinsurance (BoilerRE) helps insurers match the right financial plan with the best equipment breakdown protection for their policyholder, offering flexible facultative and treaty reinsurance options across a variety of risk segments and exposures. As a Client Analyst, BoilerRE, you will work closely with reinsurance clients to collect and validate both treaty and facultative underwriting data. You will additionally assess and periodically report out on this data in support of successful reinsurance partnerships.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in the property and casualty insurance or reinsurance industry, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two or more years of experience in the property and casualty insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and report on key observations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the intake and accurate application of reinsurance client portfolio data.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve portfolio data issues, as necessary.
  • Prepare periodic reporting on portfolio data for underwriting and sales partners in support of profitable and productive reinsurance client relationships.
  • Collaborate with reinsurance underwriting team to onboard new BoilerRE clients and insurance programs, successfully administering user acceptance testing plans and producer code establishment.
  • Coordinate with reinsurance clients to address outstanding file issues, as necessary.
  • Accurately and efficiently quote, issue, and book facultative reinsurance accounts.
  • Identify system enhancement opportunities and collaborate with Technology partners as a business unit subject matter expert in the requisition and implementation of system changes.
  • Support and participate in portfolio Collaborative Underwriting Review Evaluations (CUREs) and internal audits, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
