About The Position

To originate and supervise a portfolio of business with commercial clients with an overall objective of achieving production, profitability, and credit quality goals.

Requirements

  • Eight years to ten years similar or related experience.
  • (1) A master's degree, or (2) a bachelor's degree plus professional certification (e.g. CPA).
  • Must have experience in analyzing business financial statements and assessing the viability of businesses
  • Must have excellent communication and PR skills
  • Ability to use related software required.

Responsibilities

  • Takes applications for commercial loan business. Partners with Credit Analysis to complete underwriting and obtains appropriate loan approvals. Completes or directs completion of all loan documents and closes loans.
  • Participates in developing loan, deposit, and treasury management business for the bank. Calls on clients to expand existing business; calls on prospects seeking opportunities to expand the bank's client base.
  • Monitors existing loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base. Maintains up-to-date credit files including current balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow projections and all loan documentation.
  • Assists in collection of past due loans.
  • Assists customers with any loan-related questions and concerns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
