About The Position

As a Relationship Manager, you will be providing new and existing customers with high quality service and specializing in assessing customer needs. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with key business and consumer customers referring them to appropriate banking partners when needed. You will be the primary new accounts and consumer lending specialist in the branch.

Requirements

  • You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • You are enthusiastic about providing a high level of customer service.
  • You have a minimum of five years’ customer service and cash handling experience.
  • You have a minimum of three years’ banking and sales experience and possibly some lending experience.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You preferably have some experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
  • You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
  • You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
  • You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
  • You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.

Nice To Haves

  • You preferably have some experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing our customers with a high level of professional and courteous service.
  • Assessing customer needs, making product recommendations, opening products and services including all e-banking products and services.
  • Being knowledgeable about consumer loan structure and credit solutions to appropriately fit the customers’ lending needs.
  • Participating in outside business development activities at the direction of the branch manager.
  • Serving in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.
