About the Internship: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer Intern to support our Reliability and Maintenance teams. This internship offers hands-on experience focused on improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives. The intern will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations to support data-driven reliability improvements. Location: 851 Hemlock Road, Morgantown, PA Duration: Approximately 13 weeks (May 18th – August 14 th ) Compensation: $18.00 per hour Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide your own housing

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field), Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and manufacturing operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support reliability initiatives aimed at improving equipment uptime and performance.
  • Track equipment performance metrics and downtime events across production lines.
  • Assist with CMMS data entry and work order documentation.
  • Collect failure data on key assets.
  • Help develop, refine, and standardize preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.
  • Participate in equipment failure analysis and root cause problem-solving activities.
  • Lead smaller-scale reliability improvement projects.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and visual work instructions.
  • Participate in time studies, asset utilization reviews, and reliability assessments.
  • Assist with continuous improvement and lean initiatives related to equipment and processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations.
