The Day shift Maintenance Technician is focused on primarily PM related work, working as team as well as being able to work independently while willing to be trained to work in other areas as needed and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who: Always work in a safe manner and identify safety hazards Conduct themselves in a professional manner during the course of the workday Should be able to take care of tasks and assigned work as needed with little or no supervision A vital member of the Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

  • Should be able to wire in motors, motor starters, relays and other electrical equipment including Variable Frequency Drives with little or no assistance.
  • Should be able to do plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.
  • Can cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter.
  • Should be able to troubleshoot most problems using prints.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing & diagnosing, following all PM job plans, SOPs, and safety procedures.
  • Audit completed PMs for quality, accuracy, and compliance, ensuring equipment is safely returned to service.
  • Support PM planning by reviewing tasks, parts, and schedules, and helping refine PM job plans.
  • Enter accurate PM results and documentation into the CMMS (eMaint) to support reliability reporting.
  • Identify equipment issues and improvement opportunities to enhance uptime, asset care, and PM effectiveness.
