About The Position

Highly skilled industrial maintenance and reliability technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems. This role serves as a technical expert and mentor to lower-level technicians and plays a key role in improving equipment uptime, reliability, and safety.

Requirements

Certification from a technical school or equivalent advanced training in industrial maintenance or reliability engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of industrial maintenance or reliability experience in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience required.
Prior forklift certification with the ability to re-certify to PPC standards required.
Proficient computer skills, including CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
Must be able to prioritize work independently and manage multiple complex tasks.
Demonstrates leadership, initiative, and accountability.
Ability to partner with internal teams and external vendors to meet operational and reliability goals.
Ability to solve complex mechanical and electrical problems using logical and analytical thinking.
Capable of interpreting technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams.
Consistently arrives at work on time and ensures responsibilities are communicated when absent.
Demonstrates strong safety leadership.
Identifies hazards, implements corrective actions, and ensures equipment and work practices meet safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for assigned equipment.
Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.
Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Create, update, and enforce maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reliability best practices.
Mentor and train Reliability Technician I and II employees.
Perform complex installations, rebuilds, and upgrades of industrial machinery and systems.
Conduct vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and other condition-monitoring techniques as required.
Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams on equipment modifications and reliability improvements.
Inspect, test, and validate machinery performance following repairs or modifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Work with the maintenance department to order or fabricate machine parts, jigs & fixtures, blades, and tools needed to maintain assigned equipment.
Operate welding and cutting equipment to fabricate or repair components as required.
Support plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Attend maintenance, safety, and facility meetings as required.
