About The Position
As a Relief Veterinarian at PetIQ in Indiana, you will get the satisfaction of providing care for pets without the pressures of a full-service veterinary environment. The PetIQ Relief Veterinarian’s primary purpose is to provide high-quality preventive care and client education. As a Relief Veterinarian you will be responsible for delivering preventive care at our weekday or weekend Community Clinics, ensuring that PetIQ procedures are followed to maintain our reputation as a leader in quality affordable preventative healthcare for our pet parents.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed DVM in the state looking to practice in
- Liability insurance: 1M per occurrence/2M aggregate
- Ability to drive to a variety of locations
- Weekend availability
- Ability to use iPad/Tablet
Responsibilities
- On site Veterinarian care for our weekday and weekend community clinics
- Perform brief medical exam, including vitals
- Administer vaccines, limited diagnostic testing, microchipping, nail trim
- Educate pet parents on preventative healthcare & products
- Updating of electronic medical records
- Clearly deliver and perform up to PetIQ medical standards & best practices
- Strengthen PetIQ brand
