Remodeling Carpenter
About The Position
TruBlue of Culpeper provides professional home repair and remodeling services for homeowners throughout Culpeper and Spotsylvania. Our work ranges from smaller repairs to bathroom remodeling and interior carpentry projects. We are a small, growing company focused on delivering quality work and a professional experience for homeowners. We are building a team of skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craftsmanship and want steady residential work. Most of your time will be spent working independently on residential projects. Typical work includes: • Bathroom remodeling • Drywall repair and finishing • Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, etc.) • Light framing and carpentry repairs • Fascia board replacement • Interior painting related to carpentry work • General residential repair and improvement projects Carpenters regularly perform drywall work on our jobs, so drywall experience is important. Most work takes place within Culpeper and Spotsylvania. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years carpentry or remodeling experience
- Experience with drywall repair and finishing
- Ability to work independently
- Must own your own carpentry tools
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read and follow a scope of work
- Ability to determine materials needed for projects
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Team-oriented attitude
- Applicants without at least five years of carpentry experience will not be considered.
