About The Position

In this role, you will have a pivotal impact by developing and managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs tailored for various client organizations. As a key player, you'll collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including business leaders and IT professionals, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will guide clients in achieving and maintaining compliance while fostering a culture of security and accountability across their operations. This is an opportunity to lead important initiatives and contribute to the overall cybersecurity posture of organizations supporting U.S. federal and defense contracts.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience implementing NIST SP 800-171 or SP 800-53 required
• 7+ years of experience with cybersecurity requirements for Department of Defense contractors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage stress and adapt to changing priorities
• Understanding of cybersecurity product/vendor landscape and best practices
• Subject matter expertise in CMMC and DFARS requirements

Responsibilities

• Document the flow of sensitive data through existing business processes
• Determine system scope for compliance efforts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver security documentation
• Assess current technical and non-technical compliance requirements
• Develop and manage System Security Plans and related policies
• Manage expectations of clients and third-party resources
• Provide ongoing advisory services on security and compliance issues
