Requirements

  • More than 5 years of sales experience in the security and computer hardware industry.
  • Knowledge or experience in electronics is highly desirable.
  • Open-mindedness toward development and continuing education.
  • A degree in sales, business, or marketing is an asset.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Ability to learn mechanical and electronic solutions.
  • Intermediate understanding of electrified hardware and components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Proven experience in influencing others with a customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key influencers at targeted end-user facilities.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools for reporting and collaboration.
  • Implement consultative selling to meet customer needs with appropriate solutions.
  • Manage pipelines and prioritize accounts based on market segmentation.
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions.
  • Participate in training sessions to acquire knowledge in security solutions.
  • Stay informed on market data and competitive activities.
  • Engage with social media to remain updated on industry activities.
  • Encourage adoption of customer-facing tools.
  • Train customers and partners on new and existing product solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and uphold company values.
  • Collaborate with hardware consultants to drive solution adoption.
  • Support colleagues with presentations and value-added messaging.
  • Master presentation techniques for various audience sizes.
  • Identify key influencers for team collaboration.
