About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Software Engineer (AI/ML). In this highly technical role, you will contribute to the development and operationalization of agentic AI solutions. Working under the Scaled Agile Framework, you will leverage AWS services to improve system usability and operational efficiency. Your expertise will directly impact the modernization of Army training systems, enabling intelligent automation and workflow orchestration. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance the capabilities of the U.S. Army Training Information System.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in AI/ML.
Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems or orchestration pipelines.
Experience with Python and modern AI frameworks.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of agentic AI workflows, agents, and MCP servers.
Implement and manage Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients for secure access to data sources.
Understand and work with AWS Bedrock for Knowledge Bases and Agents.
Build AI agents that integrate with ATIS applications to orchestrate workflows.
Design and maintain secure API integrations between AI agents and cloud services.
Collaborate with various teams to translate mission needs into scalable AI solutions.
Implement guardrails and audit logging to ensure compliance with requirements.
Optimize performance and cost of AI services in AWS GovCloud environments.
