Renewable Procurement Project Coordinator System Planning – Generation Procurement This position will be located at GPC Headquarters in Atlanta, GA Job Summary: The Utility Scale (US) Project Coordinator (PC) facilitates the evaluation and interconnection of renewable energy facilities including US Request for Proposals (RFP) and Qualifying Facilities (QF). The PC also serves as the contract manager for winning projects from contract execution through commercial operation. In addition, the PC will serve as a Renewable Development subject matter expert related to the evaluation of risk, values of contractual terms and conditions, renewable and storage use cases and serve as a point of contact for Resource Planning throughout the IRP process. This role is responsible for the collaborative development, implementation and management of all US programs. This position works with large and diverse teams across various departments within Southern Company and externally to successfully implement US projects. The Utility-Scale Team currently has a hybrid work schedule and works in the office (241 Ralph McGill) four days per week, Monday – Thursday.
