About The Position

The Rental Clerk is responsible for assisting with the dealership's fleet of loaner vehicles which are provided to customers while their own vehicles are being serviced.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use.
• Handle the check-in and check-out process for loaner vehicles, which includes explaining the terms of use, documenting customer information, and providing vehicle keys.
• Coordinate with the service department to provide customers with loaner vehicles during their service appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of loaner vehicle agreements, including customer details, vehicle assignment, mileage, and condition reports.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use, documenting any damages or issues.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
