About The Position

The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for growing rental business while supporting and expanding customer relationships. This role works closely with both new and existing customers to recommend rental solutions and also sells select compact equipment products. Success in this role requires strong product knowledge, responsiveness, and a team-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

College coursework or a degree in business, engineering, or a related field is helpful but not required.
Experience in construction equipment, rentals, or related industries preferred.
Sales experience with an emphasis on product knowledge and solution selling strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing rental customers.
Identify and pursue new rental and compact equipment sales opportunities.
Recommend equipment based on customer needs and job applications.
Provide basic equipment demonstrations and operational guidance when needed.
Prepare quotes, proposals, and rental agreements including pricing and terms.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery, pickup, and customer support.
Maintain clear communication with customers and internal departments.
Support equipment utilization by matching available inventory with customer demand.
Provide regular call reports and updates on customer activity.
Partner with equipment sales representatives to support shared accounts.
