Repair Options Specialist
About The Position
The Repair Options Specialist will work closely with Service, Parts, and Customer Solutions teams to develop and establish Repair Options. This position will be responsible for building Standard Jobs to provide our Sales teams with additional service options to provide the customer. In addition, the Repair Options Specialist will conduct analysis of Standard Jobs to uncover deviations between estimated and actual parts and labor hours required to complete. These responsibilities enhance Thompson equipment management solutions and maintenance offerings for all divisions. This position is responsible for developing metrics, utilizing system resources as monitoring tools to view the percentage of use of labor hours, parts and overall profitability
Responsibilities
- Advocate for safety and adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Create Standard Jobs / Repair Options
- Develop and establish consistent processes to support service offerings in pricing and development
- Create consistent parts and service offerings for all divisions
- Maintain pricing and model/component information
- Develop job standards for specific task
- Looking up parts (SIS, Reman)
- Communicating with shop/field personnel all required procedures and allotted times
- Creating Standard Jobs in AX
- Maintaining price relationships with Caterpillar
