About The Position

We’re looking for a driven, organized, and hands-on Repair Technician Supervisor to lead daily building maintenance operations while actively supporting field repairs. This is your opportunity to combine leadership and technical skill to make a real operational impact.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of building/general repair maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience leading or supervising a team
  • Valid Driver’s License (Driving Required)
  • Driving Record (MVR) Check – Required
  • General Background Check – Required
  • New Mexico Department of Health Fingerprinting – Required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Clear communication and team collaboration
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

  • Experience working with persons with disabilities strongly preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of training and experience considered

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and issue daily work assignments
  • Monitor projects in progress and inspect completed work
  • Assist with complex or unusual repair tasks
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate repair technicians and a water technician
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations
  • Participate on interview panels to help build a strong workforce
  • Approve timesheets and manage workflow, including overtime monitoring
  • Perform routine inspections of rest area facilities
  • Identify repair needs and proactively assign work orders
  • Implement and enforce safety and security procedures
  • Maintain high quality control standards and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage incoming work orders with detailed scopes, time estimates, required tools, and materials
  • Maintain task checklists and technician field check-ins
  • Document contingencies and proposed solutions
  • Manage inventory levels for parts and supplies
  • Oversee tools and equipment maintenance
  • Assist with Highways vehicle fleet servicing and maintenance
  • Prepare and submit regular repair activity reports
  • Substitute for technicians as needed
  • Provide support on evenings, holidays, or weekends when required
