About The Position

Requirements Verification Systems Engineer The Opportunity: We have an opportunity to provide long-term support to a GPS space vehicle program. We are looking for someone with systems engineering experience in verifying satellite bus and payloads systems. You’ll perform verification and test efforts at the configuration item level as well as the integrated space vehicle level. You will also collaborate with military, government personnel, aerospace, and the prime contractor that is currently building and procuring GPS space vehicles. This is an opportunity to perform systems engineering work in support of delivering future GPS satellites providing current and new capabilities to the warfighter. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in space systems engineering with requirements verification
  • 5+ years of experience performing box-level and space vehicle-level integration and testing
  • 5+ years of experience with the space systems product acceptance process, including Hardware Acceptance Reviews (HAR), Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)
  • 2+ years of experience using the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
  • Experience with test and evaluation products, including test plans or procedures, test scripts, test reports, and test readiness reviews, and alignment with requirements verification
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering and integration activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing DXL scripts in DOORS
  • Experience with automation frameworks
  • Experience performing multiple systems engineering and program management functions
  • Knowledge of GPS space, ground, or user segments
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle milestones, and DoD systems engineering, testing, and production policies, standards, and practices
  • Possession of excellent technical writing skills, for program or systems engineering documentation
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
  • Professional Certifications such as PMP, ESEP/CSEP, or OCSMP Certification
