The Equity Research Assistant will provide optimal full service administrative and project support to the Equity Research department with a specific focus on 4-6 Equity Research analysts. Requirements

  • Administrative experience in an Equity Research or Investment Banking department of an investment bank strongly preferred.
  • Ability to juggle up to five managers with competing requests for your time.
  • Excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage calendars, complicated travel itineraries, and expense reports for 4-6 healthcare Equity Research analysts based in both Boston and New York.
  • Assist with the logistics for analyst marketing itineraries, Non-deal roadshows, medical meetings and other client functions.
  • Book travel using Ovation and process expense reports in Databasics.
  • Log interactions with institutional investors in a timely fashion in our Client Relationship Mgmt Application (CRM), finalize Analyst marketing attendees in the IPREO system (after the meetings), and assist with due diligence processes.
  • Chase analyst teams for information required to perform this function.
  • Work as part of an administrative support team with a mind to provide back-up as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments on a regular basis including Sales, Corporate Access, Facilities, IT, HR and Compliance to troubleshoot for the research teams.
  • Facilitate the start and training of new employees.
  • Support Research Management initiatives to be rolled out to the department and/or firm.
