Temporary Employee The research assistant will gain hands-on experience in qualitative and patient-centered outcomes research and will play an active role in multiple aspects of the study, including: Conducting participant interviews at community eye screening events held in settings such as free clinics, food pantries, and community centers Leading approximately 30 free-listing activities with screening participants Conducting follow-up semi-structured interviews to further explore participant responses Assisting with the development and refinement of a patient-centered survey instrument Helping to pilot and administer the survey at future screening events Assisting with analysis of free-listing data, including term consolidation and data entry into analysis software Contributing to qualitative interview coding and interpretation Supporting analysis of survey acceptability and feasibility outcomes Research Assistant will also gain exposure to the field of ophthalmology and community-based eye care, participate directly in screening events, and develop experience in patient-centered outcomes research. Possible weekend/evenings required.
