About The Position

The summer internship projects are expected to assist engineering and R&D teams with experimental preparation, data collection, and general project execution to help improve material performance and reliability for customer applications. The role provides hands-on exposure to industrial R&D environments while contributing to accelerating project timelines.

Requirements

• All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2026.
• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of laboratory or manufacturing environments
• Willingness to learn hands-on experimental and testing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Availability to work full-time during the summer internship period

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and handling of experimental samples and materials
• Support laboratory testing activities and basic equipment operation
• Collect, organize, and document experimental and test data
• Collaborate with engineers and team members on assigned project tasks
• Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures in lab
• Provide general support to ongoing R&D and process improvement projects
