About The Position

Leads the DataOps Team in leveraging modern data practices and advanced technologies to manage and optimize data workflows. Ensures the availability and stability of analytics platforms and tools, supporting the organization’s stability of analytics platforms and tools, and the system becoming a more integrated, data-informed, and analytics-driven healthcare organization. Partners with team and business partners to prioritize tasks, requests, and projects. Mentors and collaborates with team members on DevOps practices to implement process improvements, optimizations, and governance during all stages of the analytics development lifecycle.

Requirements

3+ years of experience supporting DevOps practices, including utilizing source control, the automation of tasks, and infrastructure as code
3+ years of experience supporting data and analytics platforms (e.g., QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, R Studio, etc.)
Experience supporting full implementation of SDLC including code repositories, branching strategies, process automation, and change control best-practices
Experience with application and data architecture, scripting languages, application programming interfaces (APIs), databases (e.g, SQL Server, Oracle), operating systems, and cloud-based technologies
Skilled with demonstrated success in all phases of a quality-focused technology development lifecycle
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and requirements amongst technology peers, end users, and vendor partners
Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills with strong technical ability to understand systems and system integrations
Experience with DevOps practices including the automation of tasks and infrastructure as code
Strong understanding of Git repositories and branching strategies
Proficient in PowerShell or related scripting languages
Experience using REST APIs to programmatically interact with systems
Ability to lead projects and initiatives from inception to completion without management supervision and to provide leadership support to other team members
Experience supporting and administering on-premises and cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, R Studio, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of application architecture, databases (SQL Server/Oracle), operating systems, and cloud-based technologies
Ability to research, recommend, and pilot tools and process changes to drive quality and efficiency across the development lifecycle
Foundational IT infrastructure knowledge
Strong problem solver who can support others
Detail-oriented and security-conscious
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent technical training and experience

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Qlik products in a large-scale enterprise environment including Qlik Management Console (QMC), Qlik Sense Site Administration, and access control modeling
Experience using Azure DevOps or related DevOps tools
Certification in DevOps practices (e.g., Microsoft Certification: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert | AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions)

Orchestrates the design, management, and optimization of cloud and on-prem infrastructure to spearhead the team's CI/CD initiatives.
Promotes and oversees the use of infrastructure as code and leads comprehensive automation strategies to refine deployment and operational efficiency.
Strategizes and governs the deployment of machine learning models, ensuring they align with broader business goals and technical standards.
Governance Oversight and Data Integrity
Leads the team's DataOps and Data and Analytics platform governance efforts, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of compliance, data integrity, and security.
Establishes robust testing and validation protocols to maintain data quality and trustworthiness.
Strategic Collaboration and Team Advancement
Drives collaboration with analytics teams and key stakeholders, marrying data platform architecture with the company's analytical and strategic imperatives.
Fosters a team culture that embraces DataOps best practices, guiding continuous improvement and setting the tone for innovation.
Leads the feedback loop process, ensuring the team remains agile and responsive to evolving data needs and market dynamics.
Leads use of advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence, natural language processing and metadata, to drive and improve program processes.
Overseeing Platform Administration & Technological Advancement
Manages the administration and maintenance of analytics platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction.
Evaluates and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, championing advancements that enhance the organization's data capabilities.
Plans and allocates team resources, ensuring efficient execution of projects and alignment with organizational priorities and deadlines.
