About The Position

The Hildebrandt lab within the Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part time Research Principal Sr to conduct analyses of pre-clinical data, manage laboratory data, and develop additional analysis pipelines.
This position is grant funded.

Requirements

• Masters degree required preferably in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of three years of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required.
• OR
• PHD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of one year of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required.
• Familiarity with computers and common software packages required.
• Working knowledge of research methodology required.
• Act 34

Nice To Haves

• Experience in rodent behavioral experiments preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and assist with supervising junior research staff.
• Provide advanced level research and/or clinical and administrative support for the research study including preparing and presenting presentations, analyzing and interpreting data, collaborating with principal investigator on manuscripts, scientific articles, and grant submissions.
