About The Position

To assist guests, owners, and other staff efficiently, courteously, and professionally in the reservations functions while maintaining the standards of Premier Island Management Group.

Requirements

  • Hospitality degree or equivalent, resort or customer service experience.
  • Any previous property management system experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to speak to customers simultaneously while typing in the property management system. Ability to have a conversation while looking for rental information.
  • Typing skills.
  • Basic computer and technical skills are needed for multiple reservation operating systems.
  • Proper phone etiquette principals.
  • Ability to assist supervisor with reports and daily activity while maintaining phone status and performing daily agent tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and assist callers with resort information
  • Be knowledgeable about all vacation rentals managed by Premier Island Management Group, to include, but not limited to: Portofino Island, Beach Club, Emerald Isle, Pensacola, and Navarre Beach Homes
  • Quote rates for vacation rentals and make reservations for callers accurately.
  • Email guest confirmation letters and correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Accurately encode all calls as to type and outcome, and create leads on all incoming reservation calls.
  • Complete Inquiries and Emails through the TRACK reservations call center program
  • Communicate with online customers via our CHAT feature
  • Communicate with guests and manage tasks in AKIA.
  • Follow up on leads that were generated the prior business day by agents in the reservations department.
  • Check emails daily for resort and department updates.
  • Reserve daily reports, daily checklist, and complete daily duties.
  • Return all voicemail in a timely manner.
  • Return all missed calls in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate same-day arrivals with the front desk and housekeeping.
  • Participate in the Airbnb and VRBO reservations initiative.
  • Assist the manager with reporting and other necessary projects.
  • Assist front desk operations
