Resident Advisor Summer 2026
About The Position
Opportunity is for May 18- June 26, 2026 Trio Programs is accepting applications for Resident Advisors for Summer 2026. Resident Advisors will: Live in the ETSU residence hall with 200 Upward Bound high school students during the summer residential program. Act as a teacher’s assistant and/or teach 1-2 elective courses. Provide tutorial assistance. Be a positive role model and encourage college access and success. Attend and chaperone all cultural/educational activities. Supervise students in the residence hall and program activities. Facilitate small group activities. Perform all other duties assigned by the project staff.
Requirements
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours of college work and maintained a 2.8 cumulative GPA through the fall semester 2024.
- Must have been enrolled in Spring 2025 and completed two calendar years of college as of June 2025 or a recent college graduate.
- Must pass criminal background check and student misconduct check. (Student misconduct checks will be performed automatically for ETSU students. Students who attend other colleges must fill out misconduct check form.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a tutor, camp counselor, or similar position.
- Experience in residence hall living.
