Resident Care Assistant - Part-time - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Regina Health Center is a mission-based skilled nursing and assisted living facility located on 230 beautiful acres in Richfield, Ohio. We are currently seeking compassionate and caring part-time (2 shifts per week) Resident Care Assistants for 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am). This position includes rotating weekends and holidays on the Assisted Living floor. Resident Care Assistants are responsible for assisting and responding to the needs of the Assisted Living residents. Responsibilities include answering call lights, providing restroom and shower assistance, assisting with dressing, and other personal needs for resident care. Additional duties include light housekeeping, laundry assistance, and continuous attention to small details to ensure a clean and safe environment for the Assisted Living Residents. Requirements
- Experience assisting and working with older adults within a health care setting
- Knowledge of personal care and assistance with mobility
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to politely and efficiently interact with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Commitment to working with a diverse population, including individuals with varying levels of cognitive impairment and physical abilities
- Willingness to receive ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
