About The Position
Compass NOVA is one of Virginia’s leading providers of behavioral health services. We deliver high-quality care while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for clinicians. Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) program offers a comprehensive clinical experience for Residents in Counseling and Supervisees in Social Work. You’ll also have opportunities to provide outpatient therapy and community-based services for adults and families, building a well-rounded clinical skill set . Flexible Full-Time Schedule Full-time status = 105 hours/month (~24–26 hours/week) Allows clinicians to maintain work-life balance while receiving full benefits Typical sessions: afternoons and evenings Flexibility to structure your weekly schedule around client needs
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Eligible for Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia
- Valid driver’s license with minimum 1 year clean driving history
- Availability for afternoon/evening appointments
- Commitment to community-based services

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and community-based therapy
- Support youth and families in achieving treatment goals
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Engage caregivers, schools, and other treatment professionals
- Participate in regular supervision and case consultation
- Maintain timely documentation
- Ensure clients have access to 24/7 crisis support
- Compass provides referral and scheduling support to help clinicians build and maintain a consistent caseload
