We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Service Director . The Resident Service Director oversees the overall care and well-being of residents in the senior living community. This role is responsible for managing the health services team, ensuring quality care standards, compliance with state regulations, and promoting a wellness-focused environment that supports resident independence, dignity, and quality of life. Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare setting; senior living, geriatric or Memory Care experience preferred.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of state regulations for assisted living or memory care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of resident care services.
  • Manage and schedule the wellness team including nurses, aides, and care associates, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance.
  • Verify proper completion of health assessments for new residents and create individualized care plans.
  • Monitor resident health status and care needs, making updates to care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and community policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Lead regular care plan reviews and participate in resident/family care conferences.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives to promote healthy aging.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development for care staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and medical professionals.
