About The Position

WinnCompanies is seeking a dynamic, creative and self-motivated Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Village at Lakeview, a 223-unit residential community located in Edgewood, MD. In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by developing, coordinating and implementing engaging programs and supportive services for families and children. The pay range for this role is $22.00-$24.00 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will also adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in resident services, social services, education, youth programming, or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of CACFP requirements
  • Experience facilitating after-school programs and summer camps
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to life
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents of diverse backgrounds
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of customer service and administrative experience.
  • Prior experience in Social Work, Education, Human Services or related field.
  • Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome new residents, explain the program, and provide community resources, programs, and services upon move-in.
  • Plan and implement engaging after-school programming and school-preparedness activities
  • Facilitate and coordinate summer camp programming
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) guidelines
  • Develop creative resident engagement initiatives and community-building events
  • Conduct housekeeping education and home maintenance instruction sessions for residents
  • Identify resident needs and provide referrals to partnering agencies and community resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with local service providers, schools, and community organizations
  • Track participation, maintain reports, and ensure program documentation is completed accurately
  • Conduct monthly unit housekeeping inspection.
  • Provide referrals between residents and local agencies.
