About The Position

The Lutheran Home is seeking a Resident Support Coordinator to join our welcoming healthcare community. This full-time position is well suited for someone who enjoys helping others while providing friendly, organized assistance. You’ll play an important role in supporting residents through appointment coordination, transportation assistance, donation efforts, care coordination, and supporting resident interests and activities. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable assisting with residents with transportation (non-transfer related)
  • Compassionate, patient, and professional
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scheduling preferred

Responsibilities

  • Warmly assist residents, visitors, and families
  • Schedule and coordinate resident appointments
  • Accompany residents to appointments and activities
  • Assist with transportation, including hospital pickups
  • Organize and distribute donations
  • Prepare and deliver welcome bags
  • Support resident activities and events
  • Address resident needs and concerns promptly
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized environment
  • Collaborate with staff to foster and support a positive community culture
