About The Position

Residential Counselor – CILA Mozart A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each. Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services, and supports for people with disabilities.
Location: Chicago, IL
Hours: Part-Time
Schedule: Wednesday 5pm-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-4pm (18 hours)
Pay: $21.35/hr + Paid Training!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day
• Provide 1:1 assistance to a client
