About The Position

LakeSide Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking to hire a Safety Minded Commercial Licensed Driver to join our team in Moses Lakes, WA. This position will work Monday-Friday 5:30Am to 3:00Pm with occasional Overtime. A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:30Am to 3:00Pm with an occasional Saturday as needed, 45-50 hour work week. Driver rate of pay is $29.15/HR. Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

Commercial Driver’s License A or B with Airbrake endorsement
Clean driving record.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to lift, Push or Pull 50+lbs minimum.
Work outside in all weather conditions or standing for 8+ Hour Shifts.
Basic knowledge of truck components to help complete DOT pre- and post-trip inspections.
This is a Safety Sensitive Position

Nice To Haves

Waste experience preferred, but not required.
Safety Minded
Customer Service Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

Ability to safely Drive on specified routes to collect solid waste.
Ability to read route Tablet and service each customer identified on the Route or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
