About The Position

Robert Madden Industries, a leading HVAC equipment and supplies distributor, has an immediate full-time opening for Residential Inside Sales at our South Austin location. This position works closely with Residential Territory Managers as the “in-house” equipment and supplies contact for customers. Coordinates with the Parts Department and Warehouse to properly process equipment, parts, and supplies. Applicants must possess strong competencies in computer skills, have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of computer experience
• The candidate must be punctual and dependable
• The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multi-task
• Applicant must have a valid Texas driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Knowledge of Computer Programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, CRM

Nice To Haves

• A general understanding of the HVAC industry is desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls from customers regarding equipment and supply orders
• Processes equipment sales orders for dealers/customers
• Communicates with vendors and manufacturers regarding job completions
• Discretionary oversight of inventory controls
• Contacts suppliers/manufacturers regarding the order information
• Offers sales/customer service to existing and potential “House Accounts.”
• Knowledge of Computer Programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP, CRM
