Residential Life Skills Coach- Full-Time-Swing/Grave Shift
About The Position

As a life skills coach you will work with hands on with individuals with intellectual, physical and or developmental disabilities. Every day will bring a new set of joys as you coach them to learn or increase their skills while assisting with the following duties. cooking Housekeeping Self-care Positive social interactions Communication Skills Find new hobbies and activities Skills you will be assisting with Personal Care Transportation within the community Health care needs Shopping Supporting individuals in achieving a meaningful life
Requirements
- Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors calmly and professionally
- Dependability and time management
- Basic household skills (cleaning, cooking, laundry) must be able to lift 75-100lbs.
- Minimum -High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to transport Clients
- Motor vehicle Record
- Safe insured/ registered vehicle
