About The Position

As a Residential Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of an adult residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and support for the individuals we serve. This hands-on leadership role blends administrative responsibilities with direct interaction, ensuring a warm, safe, and person‑centered environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (CNA preferred)
• Valid Alabama driver’s license and insurability
• Ability to pass DHR Child Abuse & Neglect Registry and ABI/FBI screenings
• CPR, First Aid, MCS, and MAC certification (or ability to earn within 30 days)
• Minimum age: 21
• At least 1 year of direct care experience required

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory or administrative experience in a residential or healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure homes meet all certification, safety, and quality standards
• Oversee budgets, supplies, and household needs
• Support residents’ health, medical care, and behavioral plans
• Manage documentation, reports, and purchasing
• Participate in on‑call rotation
• Attend trainings, meetings, and complete special assignments
• Work closely with families, QDDPs, BCBAs, and treatment teams
• Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth, effective operations
• Engage professionally with clients, families, staff, and visitors
• Supervise and support direct care staff
• Lead goal setting, problem solving, and performance management
• Assist with staff recruitment, retention, and training
• Promote a positive, mission‑aligned work environment
